Controller

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Compensation: 110K-120K

This is an incredible opportunity to become the controller of a rapidly growing home services company based in Phoenix. This company has recently expanded its operations to new markets outside of Arizona and has seen their revenue nearly double since 2019. They are looking for a controller who has strong management experience and strong knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities of the Controller position include:

• Collaborate with the CFO to oversee cash-flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
• Lead and train accounting department
• Manage monthly accounting close, journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation and execution of the annual audit
• Assist and participate in process improvement projects
• Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis as needed controller

Requirements for the Controller position include:

• BS in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience
• 2+ years of management experience
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
