Vaco is looking for a direct hire Staff Accountant in Columbus, OH!

Staff Accountant

Location: onsite at 3985 Groves Road Columbus Ohio 43232 United States

Pay: $60,000/salary

Hours: Monday to Friday 8AM to 5PM

Start Date: 2.6.23

Job Duties:

• Records journal entries in the general ledger
• Assists with accounts payable & accounts receivables
• Assists with monthly bank reconciliations
• Reviews and records corporate credit card transactions in the general ledger
• Reviews and records freight company transportation invoices in the general ledger
• Monthly sales tax and CAT tax process (data collection, calculation & preparing payment)
• Participates in month end financial close process
• Analyzes monthly financial statement activity
• Assists with documenting financial processes and procedures
• Ad hoc projects and financial reporting as assigned

Requirements:

• BA or BS in Accounting or Business preferred but not required
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel required

• Candidates that are experienced with NetSuite and Quickbooks preferred
