Director of Internal Audit in , CO at Vaco

Vaco has partnered with an exciting designer and manufacturer in the Northern Colorado area looking to add a Director of Internal Audit to their team.

Our client is in need of a strong Internal Audit Director experienced in operational and SOX control audits, presenting audit packages to executives, and process improvement. This position is highly visible, and will have exposure to other functional areas within the business. This role features a hybrid schedule and will pay between $175k and $200k w/ bonus, covered relocation to northern Colorado, and other incentives.

Responsibilities:

• Establish the in-house internal audit function and policies
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements across the company
• Present audit reports to the Board of Directors and Audit Committee
• Manage all internal audit activities
• Oversee and perform enterprise risk assessments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, Master's preferred
• CPA or CIA certification highly preferred
• 10+ years of experience in audit
• Prior experience at a global manufacturer desired
• Comfortable presenting complex information to executives
• SAP or other large ERP system experience a plus
