Job Description

Houston-based holding company for multiple operating companies is looking for a qualified IT Manager to support the company's Microsoft Dynamics AX environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management for AX related project initiatives
• Work with business stakeholders to identify and drive process and system improvements
• Provide business process and system functional expertise with core AX financial and purchasing modules; making recommendations and managing system enhancement projects
• Manage projects and project teams with particular focus on project management methodology and best practices
• Perform project management activities including business case development, project scoping/estimating, project plan and resource management, status reporting, financial reporting, issues management, etc.

Experience

• 10+ years IT industry experience
• 5+ years working in a IT project management capacity
• 3+ years managing projects and providing support for enterprise Dynamics AX environments
• 5+ years managing techno-functional teams with responsibilities that include hiring, work assignment, performance management, career guidance, etc.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of finance and accounting related business processes
