Vaco Resources Senior Consulting practice provides elite, senior-level finance and accounting professionals on a project and consulting basis including Interim CFOs, Controllers, Audit Managers, Tax Professionals, and more.

Position Summary:

This individual works directly with Vaco team members and recruiters so good communication and teamwork is a must.

The Executive Resources Recruiter position within our Vaco Resources Senior Consulting practice s responsible for identifying, screening, and managing candidates and consultants for senior accounting and financial positions within the Resources division. This position works with one or more producers to fulfill open job orders while managing candidates and consultants throughout the hiring process.

Our ideal Executive Resources Recruiter candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, pace and intensity, and an aptitude for long-term relationship building. Pedigree in finance and accounting - such as a CPA, MBA, or senior-level background in finance or accounting is highly desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Proactively sources, identifies, and screens candidates for hiring needs in contract, contract‐to‐ hire, and consulting positions within senior‐level accounting and finance functions.
• Performs interviews in‐person, by phone, and/or web to assess suitability to positions.
• Maintains regular communication with candidates during and outside of the hiring process.
  • Develops a strong network of talent to increase referrals, leads, and ability to successfully fill positions.
  • Markets open positions via job postings, social media, networking events, and other methods.
  • Performs reference and background checks while managing applicant data within Bullhorn.
  • Presents qualified talent for open positions while also marketing candidates to the client manager.
  • Generates and shares leads from interviews with Client Managers to increase sales.
  • Collaborates with teammates to fill other positions when appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Technical Skills:

• Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Experience with Bullhorn preferred.

Basic Skills:

Able to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines; Organized, detailed, and results‐ driven. Must be able to manage time effectively and work independently without direct supervision.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required. CPA, MBA, CMA or related designation preferred but not required.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in audit, tax, and/or public accounting OR directly relevant experience required.
