Project Manager

Job Purpose / Objective:
The Project Manager is responsible for project management and delivery, including: planning, scheduling, execution, issues/risk management, and closing activities. In this role you will manage and deliver high priority projects through effective communication with business units, IT project teams and operations, and service providers at one or more US locations.

This company cannot sponsor or transfer sponsorship and is unable to work C2C at this time. This is a W2 only position.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects with varying technologies in multiple areas of the business.
  • Utilize strong MS Project expertise to manage, create, and build effort-based plans
  • Track and monitor project progress, risks, and issues and escalate appropriately
  • Proactively manage project teams that are responsible for project deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, including process optimization, risk mitigation and technology utilization
  • Perform moderate vendor management activities
  • Build a strong rapport with your project teams; be able to motivate and inspire


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis, or Management Information Systems is preferred or equivalent experience required
  • 3 years' of related work experience required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with business stakeholders and leaders, IT project planning, delivery, and execution using Traditional and Agile SDLC methodologies
  • Experience with VSTS, Jira, and/or other team/project collaboration tools
  • Ability to work in and lead a project team, while communicating and coordinating with peer teams
  • Ability to formulate, document and recommend new policies and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
  • Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
  • PMP certification preferred
