Job Description

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

Essential Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities


Project Management:

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to define scope, milestones, dependencies, resources

• Create and manage the project schedule / plan

• Day-to-day project management execution

• Manage all project artifacts including RAID Log, RACI, budget, communication plan and status reports

• Prioritize and elevate category critical issues to managers and leadership as required

• Experience managing large-scale, complex, cross functional projects

• Proficient in PPM Software, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio


Communication and Reporting:

• Manage end-to-end communication plan

• Work with internal partners to identify and understand all impacted teams

• Prepare and document project team meetings, status reports, RAID logs, kickoff, assessments, etc.

• Provide timing updates on the project status, health, etc.

• Provide clear, concise updates across all levels or leadership

Process Mapping

• Assist SMEs in mapping out existing processes and then performing gap analysis against industry defined best practices

• Assist SMEs in documenting revised processes


Team Leadership

• Lead and influence enterprise-wide project teams

• Gain alignment and execution through influencer model

• Act as a thought partner across organization

• Share feedback across project team

• Lead lessons learned sessions and share across all teams


Problem Solving

• Identify and analyze complex cross-functional issues

• Solve problems autonomously or with little guidance

• Drives decision making with cross functional team and oversees successful execution of decision

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5-7 years' experience as a Project Manager, leading large and complex projects
  • PMP certification a plus
  • Experience working with accounting, finance, legal and IT department SMEs
  • Experience mapping and improving business processes
  • Experience working with SOX internal control standards a plus
  • Experience with capital raises, recapitalizations and/or public offerings a plus
  • Prior experience leading business programs and planning initiatives
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems and efficiently communicate them with the project team
  • Prior experience in forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning
  • Excellent written and oral communications, organizational, analytical, problem solving, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent organization and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Capable of organizing information succinctly and clearly communicating to all level of the organization
  • The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
