RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead and manage large complex technology projects simultaneously (dependent upon size and scope), successfully delivering each on time, on budget, within scope and of highest quality.
* Create and manage detailed project plans from scratch that identify all workstreams, milestones, details and resources required to successfully complete each project and deliver an exceptional client experience.
* Lead the definition of project scope, deliverables, workstreams, milestones and project timeline.
* Create detailed project plans utilizing appropriate resource levels and secure stakeholder approval.
* Communicate project status and details clearly and effectively with all stakeholders.
* Champion all project changes through the Change Order process to successful completion.
* Escalate issues quickly and accurately to the appropriate stakeholders.
* Lead and document "Lessons Learned" session within 30 days of go-live.
* Coach and act as a mentor to facilitate continued growth and development among peers and co-workers.
* Implement the organizational change management practices for new product launches for operations and support organizations.
* Look for system and process efficiencies, recommending and championing improvements throughout Alegeus.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree required.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in project/program management.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience managing cross functional projects working with product/technology team on new product launches.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
* Extensive work experience in software operations, healthcare technology, benefits administration, financial services, financial operations, or related fields.
* Extensive experience successfully leading mid-sized and large-sized projects using PMI principles.
* Experience with agile development methodologies (ex- SCRUM)
* Experience in driving adoption of program and project management best practices.
* Software development and product management experience preferred.
* Experience in building partnerships across different product organizations
* Experience in delivering on multi-year product roadmaps
* Transformation and change management experience a plus.
* Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex projects in matrixed organizations, providing consultative services to a variety of internal and external clients, and successfully leading teams through challenging and difficult implementations.
