SENIOR MANAGER TECHNICAL ACCOUNTING

Outstanding opportunity in the Controller's organization of a large, Atlanta-based company. This highly visible and impactful role is designed to create a more of a proactive technical accounting function to help support the strategic initiatives and growth of the business.

This role will include providing technical accounting and governance insights and service to the organization and will work across functional lines and have tremendous visibility to senior leadership. This will include evaluating new initiatives in light of technical accounting and governance issues, writing memos, developing documentation, policy, and procedures. A component of the role will also include supporting consolidated reporting activities. Additionally, this leader will coordinate with external auditors, lead policy discussions, support financial reporting and consolidations, evaluate internal controls and GAAP compliance, and other special projects.

The ideal candidate for this Senior Manager of Technical Accounting role will have:

-Bachelor's in Accounting (Master's preferred)

-CPA (required)

-Big 4 or other national firm public accounting audit experience

-Deep technical accounting experience, including implementing new policies from beginning to end.

-Strong internal controls understanding

-Purchase price accounting experience

-Exposure to SEC reporting

-6-8+ years of progressive and relevant experience

-Superior communication and relationship building skills

-History of job stability and career progression
