Job Description

Multi-National Corporation and food production company enjoyed at the dinner tables of millions of Americans who have made them an industry leader for nearly half a century.

The team needs a Project Manager of Product Inventory Management to work in heavy collaboration with the steering committee, manage both the implementation and coordination in tandem with product support vendors and stakeholders throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will report to the Vice President of Operations.

PLEASE NOTE: This position requires travel across the Puget Sound Region and Alaska at multiple company worksites/locations.

LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION NO C2C, UNABLE TO SPONSOR NOW OR IN THE FUTURE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design & validation of details, w/Infor Software, maintain, integrate, operate physical supply itemization processes, design and automation maintenance implementation, installation testing, training, go-live, and configuration.
  • Project effort leadership planning, execution, risk management, communications, project budget, and financial controls and stakeholder management.
  • Ownership of initiatives associated with the design and implementation of the Physical Asset Management System utilizing Infor Software.
  • Technical and non-technical deliverables. Solutions delivery, process adjustments, standards and governances, scope management, management of timeline, risk management along with issues and decision-making process.
  • Leader and manager of Physical Asset Management Product focused on process and productivity improvement throughout supply chain networks.
  • Project plan execution adhering to objectives, project steering, implementation, stakeholder management. Project management process improvement, influence decision-making.
  • Work in collaboration with 3rd party vendors to ensure system monitoring, project controls, project scope management, integration, ensure that all systems for project control and performance monitoring meet necessary metrics for implementation
  • Ownership of process/project design, analysis, and implementation of best practices in business, developing customized, intricate solutions in collaboration with the steering committee, implementation team, positive outcomes, and sustainable results.
  • Project Timeline, Physical Asset, leadership of system maintenance, and assets.


DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Complete assigned project activities and milestones according to schedule, budget, and within quality standards while maintaining good partner, customer, and vendor relationships in accordance with global standards.
  • Monitor, enforce and maintain job safety for the project by supporting and participating in all safety project initiatives
  • Project budget monitoring, assurance of project completion on schedule, issue project status updates related to business, and financials.
  • Construct key performance benchmarks measurement of project results and overall effectiveness, project planning, scheduling, consistency of scope.
  • Third-party vendor management, management of schedule, financials, and expectations.
  • Project team member guidance and leadership for activity assignments, team execution.
  • Steering project design, implementation events, architecture, preparations, inventory management, site management and preparation, and implementation.
  • Administrative functions include billing, consulting and supplier payments, waste management, cash management.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5+ years' Project Management experience managing physical assets and implementing Enterprise Asset Management systems (EAM)***** Infor is a huge plus but a similar EAM will suffice
  • Background in Manufacturing
  • Strong strong background in inventory management.
  • Strength in numbers/analytics is Highly Desirable
  • Plant and Site Operations management experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel more than 50 percent in sites along Puget Sound and Alaska.
  • Risk management, project control methods
  • Financial management
  • Inventory management, procurement, asset maintenance processes, transportation and logistics, Warehouses, Alaska business experience highly-desired.
  • Experience with Infor is a strong nice to have.*****
