IT Infrastructure Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : Design, build, oversight in deployments,and maintain IT infrastructure, while leveraging the latest technologies. Serves as the primary point of contact for internal/external customers, project sponsors, contracted vendors and/or consultants. Proposes process improvement where needed for IT the organization. Prepares and presents reports defining service metrics and project progress.
Minimum of 8 years experience administering and supporting Microsoft Windows Server technology and related systems including Active Directory, DFS, DHCP, DNS, RDS, GPOs, software deployment tools and security. VMWare virtualization solutions in an enterprise environment, including vCenter, HA, DRS, scripting, deployment, and experience in Cisco, Dell server products, rack mount and blade infrastructure, including racking and cabling. Understanding of SAN storage concepts and networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, ACLs.). The Ideal Candidate would Possess strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills. Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
