Technical SEO Lead
We are seeking an experienced Technical SEO Lead to oversee the entire technical SEO strategy for the client's website. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Tech SEO best practices, algorithm changes, and analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive technical SEO strategies.
- Pitch big SEO initiatives SEO Proposal Documentation – that gets approved!
- Support SEO Manager in creating an annual roadmap integrating traffic and conversion goals.
- Conduct regular website audits to identify technical issues. Monitor search console data for potential issues and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate and manage technical SEO projects, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Develop project plans and timelines and ensure timely implementation of technical SEO initiatives.
- Create and manage SEO tickets.
- Generate reports on technical SEO performance and identify trends to guide strategy adjustments.
- Analyze data to measure the impact of technical SEO efforts, using analytics tools to track key SEO metrics.
- Communicate progress and challenges to the team and stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality of technical implementations by testing website changes for SEO impact, identifying and reporting any issues, and collaborating with developers to resolve them.
- Deep knowledge of crawlability, renderability, and indexability.
- Experience with optimizing for Core web vitals and improving page speed scores.
- Knowledge of SEO automation, scaling of content, links etc.
- Understanding of front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shema Markup etc.
- Skills including applied knowledge of bot behaviour monitoring, server log analysis, crawl budget optimization, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, SSR (server-side rendering), CDN/pre render.
- Ability to ensure the function and integrity of metadata, internal linking, Hreflang tags,canonicals, redirects, cannibalization strategies etc.
- 4 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience with the following tools (or similar: Botify, Screaming Frog, Brightedge, Oncrawl, Semrush, Ahrefs, JIRA.
