Our Client, a respected leader in the San Antonio market, is looking for a forward-thinking and strategic Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the IT vision and operations. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned IT leader to break free from rigid corporate structures and build a modern, high-performing IT organization—with full executive support and autonomy.

- Set Strategic Direction: Define and implement short- and long-term IT goals aligned with overall business objectives to drive efficiency, growth, and innovation.
- Lead & Develop Talent: Manage and mentor a team of 20 IT professionals spanning infrastructure, operations, and digital transformation.
- Own Technology Operations: Ensure robust IT infrastructure while spearheading key initiatives like ERP system evaluation and future digital projects.
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve the needs of both corporate and field teams by delivering practical, user-friendly solutions that generate measurable business impact.
- Partner with Executives: Collaborate closely with the executive team to align IT initiatives with company goals.
- Proven IT executive leadership with a history of building and scaling high-performing teams
- Strategic thinker who can execute and deliver results
- Strong communicator and leader, able to inspire both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Broad IT expertise across infrastructure, operations, and transformation initiatives
- Experience in construction or a related industry is a plus, but not required

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
