Sr. Solution Architect
Location: Nashville, TN (onsite 2 days per week)
Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire
The Sr. Solution Architect will serve as the technical lead within the Accounting pod of the Automation Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for setting strategy, defining technology standards, and leading architecture design across highly critical financial automation initiatives.
Responsibilities:

Define and ensure adherence to non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as availability, scalability, disaster recovery, uptime, and security.

Design cloud-based solutions for high-impact financial processes.

Oversee cloud architecture (GCP preferred, Azure or AWS acceptable).

Ensure strong API design and performance (REST preferred).

Collaborate closely with business and IT teams to ensure solutions meet SLAs and operational goals.

Support automation initiatives using RPA (UiPath) when applicable.

Oversee CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab and Azure DevOps for deployment.

Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and ensure architectural alignment with enterprise standards.
Requirements:

Proven experience in solution architecture, preferably in a leadership or technical strategy capacity.

Strong understanding of non-functional requirements (availability, scalability, reliability, maintainability, disaster recovery).

Hands-on experience with REST API design and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

Ability to design and present architectural blueprints and reference architectures.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
