

Accounting Manager - Bilingual POST NUMBER: 459577
Now recruiting on behalf of a growing retail company in Atlanta for an Accounting Manager. The company is mid-sized ($200-300M annual revenue) and offers stability, a highly competitive benefits package (including 401k match), and the opportunity to grow and truly make an impact.
This Accounting Manager will work closely with the CFO to shift the company from cash-based to accrual-based accounting. This will include driving process improvements, collaborating with external CPA firm to shift processes in house, upgrading systems, training staff, and managing all aspects of the close process. This role is largely focused on GL accounting, month end close, financial reporting, GAAP compliance, accrual based accounting, variance analysis, cash reconciliations, internal controls, and working closely with the 12-13 locations on their accounting.
The right candidate for this Accounting Manager opportunity will have:
- Bachelor's in Accounting (CPA preferred)
- Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish)
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Experience leading accounting staff
- Experience with month end close, accrual-based accounting, GAAP compliance, cash accounting, audit support, journal entries, fixed assets, reconciliations, variance analysis, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Requires experience with small-mid sized Accounting software and preference given to those who have supported a mid-tier ERP implementation
- Strong relationship building and organizational skills
- History of job stability required for consideration.
