Job Title: Staff Accountant - Financial Reporting
Location: Birmingham, AL (On-site)

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with monthly financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and trend reporting

Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain monthly balance sheet account reconciliations

Prepare and post journal entries, including payroll entries

Assist with expense allocations and intercompany entries

Support internal and external audits with schedule preparation and data analysis

Maintain internal financial schedules and support tax and regulatory filings

Partner with leadership on special projects and ad-hoc analysis
What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting

Solid understanding of GAAP
-
Excellent communication and organizational skills
-
Team-first mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
