Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing corporation based in Atlanta, is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Supervisor to join their dynamic finance team. As the Corporate Accounting Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing core accounting functions and leading a team of 2–3 corporate accountants. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the month-end close process
- Overseeing intercompany and foreign currency accounting
- Ensuring GAAP compliance and maintaining robust internal controls
- Reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Supporting ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and strong business acumen. Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA designation strongly preferred (or actively pursuing CPA)
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Experience in corporate accounting required, with a strong preference for intercompany and foreign currency accounting exposure
- Proficiency in ERP systems and strong systems orientation
- Demonstrated career progression and job stability
