Vaco has partnered with a client located in Westfield, IN to hire a Sr. Human Resources Generalist to lead key HR programs that support our growing, people-focused organization. This role centers on benefits administration, compliance oversight, and compensation analysis, ensuring our HR practices remain compliant, competitive, and employee-driven.
Key Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration:
-
Oversee all employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k).

Coordinate annual open enrollment, vendor relationships, and employee education.

Resolve benefits issues, track changes, and monitor utilization to recommend cost-effective improvements.

Lead wellness and employee engagement initiatives that promote overall well-being.

HR Compliance & Policy Management:
-
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, OSHA, ERISA).

Maintain and update the employee handbook, policies, and procedures.

Conduct internal HR audits, manage I-9s and regulatory reporting, and prepare documentation for legal or insurance audits.

Partner with leadership to mitigate risk, ensure consistency, and uphold a culture of integrity and fairness.

Compensation Analysis & Strategy:

Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analysis to maintain pay equity and competitiveness.

Support salary structure development and job classification consistency.
Collaborate with HR leadership to prepare data-driven recommendations for annual pay and benefit reviews.

Other HR Related Duties include: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding, HRIS & Data Management, Employee Relations & Support, other projects and culture support
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.

5 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on compliance, benefits, and compensation.

Strong understanding of employment law and regulatory requirements.

Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Paycom, ADP, or similar).
-
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
