Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, Tue–Thu; 2 days remote)
Duration: 6–12 months with possibility of extension
Compensation: $100-110/hour

Join a privately held specialty apparel company with a great history, known for its multi-brand and private-label offerings. With $150–200M in annual revenue, the company distributes its products through wholesale and e-commerce channels, including Walmart, Amazon, and other major retailers.
Role Overview:
As Interim CFO, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for all finance and accounting operations. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you will partner closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to drive profitability, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance, in partnership with third-party providers.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes, including analysis of key metrics and financial performance.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and profitability.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and risk management strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (supply chain, operations, sales, marketing) to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
- Lead and mentor a finance and accounting team of 8, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Support acquisition integration and post-merger financial processes as needed.
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in private, mid-market consumer products, manufacturing, or apparel companies, ideally $150–200M revenue range.
- Strong background in financial strategy, FP&A, treasury, risk management, and operational accounting.
- Experience with supply chain, inventory management, and e-commerce distribution.
- Skilled in leading financial systems implementations and BI tools, and able to communicate complex financial concepts to diverse teams.
- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Lead a finance function in a company poised for growth and operational transformation.
- Collaborate closely with an involved CEO and executive team.
- Work in a dynamic hybrid environment with exposure to high-level decision-making and strategic initiatives.
