Senior Tax Analyst
- Coordinate, prepare, and handle all physical and digital documentation required for client tax preparation.
- Experience working with High Net Worth Individuals
- Oversee the firm’s internal accounting platform by organizing client files, uploading tax documents, monitoring outstanding information requests, and confirming that all materials needed for tax filings are collected.
- Actively follow up with clients, financial advisors, and tax managers to ensure tax return projects continue progressing toward filing deadlines.
- Enter tax data for individual, trust, and business returns, and carefully review system-imported information to confirm accuracy and reduce the need for review-stage corrections.
- Interpret reviewer feedback and incorporate required updates into completed work.
- Gather, arrange, and maintain all essential tax forms and supporting records for individual, trust, and business filings in line with current tax laws.
- Prepare and communicate any adjusting journal entries affecting client financial records.
- Assist in identifying eligible tax deductions, credits, and personalized tax planning opportunities for clients.
- Support Tax Managers by helping prepare client tax projections and related calculations.
- Review and help resolve IRS and state tax notices by coordinating information requests with clients, advisors, and managers, and communicating with tax authorities as needed.
- Provide regular updates to clients, advisors, and Tax Managers regarding the status of tax filings.
- Keep detailed and accurate documentation within the CRM, tax preparation software, and client folders stored on the company server.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, CPA license a plus.
- experience with proven ability to prepare tax returns for individual, S Corporations, Partnership and Trust tax returns.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks; experience with tax software (CCH AXCESS, TaxCaddy, ShareFile, DocuSign) preferred.
- Experience working with High Net Worth individual Tax returns
