A large public distributor in the San Gabriel Valley is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for AP, AR, payroll, fixes assets, financial reporting, and month-end close. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant will need to be detail-oriented, analytical, and a problem-solver. Does this sound like you or someone you know? What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 4 years of accounting experience
- Advanced Excel
- Must have experience working in a publicly-traded company
- Review general ledger accounts, transactions for classification, and trial balance
- Intercompany elimination, balance sheet account reconciliation, and income statement analysis
- Prepare journal entries for revenue, operating expenses, intercompany, balance sheet, and consolidation
- Ensure SOX and GAAP compliance in addition to other government regulations
- Resolve aging on the balance sheet
- Assist with the annual audit
- Support AP hen necessary
- Support analyzing the general ledger, creating business reports, and other projects as needed

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
