Our client, an AI technology company focused on enterprise decision-making, is seeking a Finance Lead to build its finance function from the ground up.

This position will be hybrid in San Francisco, CA.
Job Description:
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments and wants to design scalable systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Build and own finance infrastructure, including accounting, payroll, payments, and expense management systems.
- Manage month-end close and financial reporting across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee cash flow, forecasting, and treasury operations to provide visibility into company performance.
- Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and track key financial metrics, creating dashboards and reports for actionable insights.
Requirements:
- 6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A, ideally with investment banking and startup experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and operational finance; IFRS experience a plus.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable finance systems and processes.
- Experience managing multi-entity operations and coordinating with external accountants and advisors.
- Detail-oriented, autonomous, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
