Accounts Receivable Manager POST NUMBER: 401457
Vaco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Manager to lead a receivables team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable management, excellent leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering exceptional results. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a finance department while contributing to the continued success of our manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the accounts receivable team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the accounts receivable process, improve collections, and reduce outstanding balances.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate actions for resolution.
- Coordinate with sales, customer service, and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and resolve payment issues.
- Prepare regular reports and analyses to track receivables performance and provide insights for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards related to accounts receivable.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
