About the Opportunity:

  • Team Leadership and Development: Manage the accounting and reporting team to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient work. Foster an environment of excellent teamwork, motivation, and professional development.
  • Compliance Excellence: Ensure accounting practices align with Company policies, procedures, and internal controls, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Financial Reporting Mastery: Prepare accurate and timely quarterly consolidated financial statements and management discussion and analysis documents.
  • Team Management Mastery: Lead a team of 10 CPA (managers and analysts), focusing on cross-training, mentorship, and implementing development opportunities.
  • Technical Oversight: Oversee technical accounting matters to maintain high standards.
  • Government Filings Compliance: Ensure compliance with income tax and other government filings.

About You:

  • CPA Auditor Certification: Certified CPA Auditor with over three years in audit and 6-8 years in industry.
  • Versatility and Independence: Skilled in handling various tasks independently in a diverse business environment.
  • ERP Systems Proficiency: Experienced in using Navision and SAP, a strong asset.
  • Regulatory Mastery: Deep understanding of ASPE rules and business combination principles for compliance.
  • Leadership Finesse: Skilled in guiding teams to the next level and building strategic business relationships.
  • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in both French and English, ensuring smooth communication in different settings.
