Interim Accounting Manager POST NUMBER: 463910
Our client, a cloud technology company, is seeking an Interim Senior Accountant to support their finance team during a critical growth phase.
The position is fully remote and has an expected duration of 3 months with potential extension.
Responsibilities:
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to streamline payroll and procurement processes
- Support system enhancements and process improvements, including workflow optimizations
- Improve accounting processes to shorten close timelines and increase automation and scalability
- Support monthly financial close, including reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Assist with audit preparation, compliance requirements, and tax filings
- Own Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, including invoice coding, approval workflows, vendor payments, and compliance with financial controls
- Maintain strong internal controls and proactively identify risks in payment cycles
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 6 years of accounting experience
- Tech industry experience preferred, ideally within a late-stage VC-backed startup
- Hands-on experience with payroll and P2P process improvements
- Strong systems and Excel skills; experience with Rippling and Ramp required
