Project Manager
Pay: $52/hour
Job Type: Contract to hire (3 months to start)
Location: Onsite at Manor Park Dr. Columbus, OH 43228
Hours: Monday to Friday from 8AM to 5PM
*Please note that this role requires domestic and international travel.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Supplier Base as well as Marketing, Quality and Supply Chain teams to bring to market a wide range of product portfolios in the outdoor power equipment industry.
- Monitor progress on all New Product Development (NPD) programs and work with various suppliers to ensure products are delivered on time, on cost, on spec.
- Regularly present engineered project status, schedule updates, and financial updates to stakeholders.
- Set deliverables, project timelines, and report status to team leaders.
- Advise suppliers on product design, manufacturing, cost, schedules.
- Effectively identify and communicate major technical and schedule issues to team leaders in a clear, concise, and timely manner while driving appropriate actions to remedy the issues.
- Ensuring all projects have the proper documentation conforming to the NPD process
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a Business or Engineering Field
- 3 years experience developing consumer products
- Knowledge in some or all the following areas: small gas engines, generators, pressure washers, batteries, battery systems
