Job Description
As the VP of Financial Operations & Collections, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our client (multi-billion-dollar software company). Your expertise will drive strategic decisions, optimize processes, and ensure financial stability. 

This role is on-site in Miami, FL. 
 
Responsibilities:
    · Financial Strategy and Leadership:
        o Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the leadership and executive team, providing insights for strategic planning.
        o Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including AR & Collections 
        o Develop and implement tracking methods for revenue. 
    · Data Analysis and Process Improvement:
        o Leverage your strong Excel skills to manipulate data, preprocess information, and join different reports and tables to identify gaps and exceptions.
        o Conduct advanced reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy.
        o Operationalize strategies that bridge the gap between our platform and people.
    · Team Enablement and Change Management:
        o Be the go-to resource for the team, especially in areas where the platform intersects with human processes.
        o Drive change management initiatives to enhance efficiency and adapt to evolving business needs.
    · Reporting, Analytics, and Decision Support:
        o Prepare timely and accurate financial analyses, summaries, and reports.
        o Establish a reliable cash flow projection process, including a minimum cash threshold for operational needs.
        o Proactively review revenue cycle metrics to address performance issues.
        o Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure revenue targets are met.
 
Requirements:
    · Proven experience as a VP of Financial Operations or VP of Collections (Large organization experience ($500M ) & 10 years’) 
    · In-depth knowledge of financial benchmarking, accounting, audit, and regulatory matters.
    · Proficiency in fiscal management principles, resource management, and needs assessment.
    · A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred. 
    · MBA/Certifications are a plus.
