Vaco is in search of a skilled and motivated interim payroll processor to join our client’s team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in payroll processing, Paycom, and onboarding. 
Position: Interim Part-Time Payroll Processor
Hours: 10 to 20 hours per week
Experience Requirement: 3 years of full payroll experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform payroll processing, including bonuses, on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Handle onboarding tasks for new hires, including sending out emails, completing required paperwork for payroll and benefits, and setting up and managing Paycom for timecards and commissions.
  • Set up and maintain Concur Expense Management for expense reporting.
  • Manage payroll for a growing organization, expecting to have over 100 employees in the coming months (recently hired 4 for operations in the last week).
Skills Required:
  • Experience with payroll systems, preferably Paycom and Concur Expense Management.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivots and vlookups.
  • Hands-on approach with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, as the team is stretched.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability to organizational changes.

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
