Our client, a SaaS technology company, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead their global accounting operations within a high?growth, fully remote environment.

This position is fully remote, with periodic travel expected.
Job Description:
This organization is undergoing continued expansion in both domestic and international markets. This role is ideal for a hands?on, operationally strong leader who can partner closely with executive leadership, scale systems and processes, and build a high?performing global accounting organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including reconciliations, fixed assets, credit card processing, accounts payable, and payroll activities.
- Oversee end?to?end payroll operations for multi?state and international employees.
- Manage the full order?to?cash cycle, including billing, collections, and cash applications.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across domestic and international entities.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, and process improvements to support scale.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a distributed accounting team, including offshore resources.
- Manage annual external audits and coordinate with auditors across all entities.
- Oversee tax filings, government reporting requirements, and multi?currency consolidations.
- Support global expansion initiatives, including new entity setup and international reporting structures.
- Partner cross?functionally with legal, product, finance, and other internal teams on strategic projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA required.
- 10 years of progressive accounting leadership experience, including Corporate Controller responsibilities.
- Prior B2B SaaS experience with strong ASC 606 and stock compensation knowledge.
- Big 4 public accounting experience.
- Strong systems experience; NetSuite preferred.
