Vaco Technology is currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager (Intermediate) for consideration for a contract / contract to hire role located downtown Indianapolis.  This will be on a hybrid work schedule and this person would need to work a minimum of 3 days in office per week.  We are only accepting resumes of those individuals that are authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.     

Job Description:
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Manage execution of day-to-day project activities including SDLC and documentation and approvals
  • Develop and track all project activities at detailed level, including detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and status reports
  • Manage projects with focus towards Scope, Schedule, Cost and Quality and report Project Risks in these areas to management 
  • Organize and conduct project team meetings 
  • Facilitate decisions to keep driving towards overall business objectives 
  • Monitors project metrics for deviations in quality, cost, or schedule
  • Manage project team members and vendors to deliver projects in a highly outsourced environment
  • Manage the relationship with the client and relevant team members 
  • Follow both Agile PM and interactive SDLC methodologies based on project size and composition 

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Management role 
  • A motivated, self-starter with project management and presentation skills.  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously 
  • Experience managing IT projects in Software Development is required.  IT Infrastructure Project Management experience is a plus.
