IT Project Manager POST NUMBER: 408354
Vaco Technology is currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager (Intermediate) for consideration for a contract / contract to hire role located downtown Indianapolis. This will be on a hybrid work schedule and this person would need to work a minimum of 3 days in office per week. Job Description:
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage execution of day-to-day project activities including SDLC and documentation and approvals
- Develop and track all project activities at detailed level, including detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and status reports
- Manage projects with focus towards Scope, Schedule, Cost and Quality and report Project Risks in these areas to management
- Organize and conduct project team meetings
- Facilitate decisions to keep driving towards overall business objectives
- Monitors project metrics for deviations in quality, cost, or schedule
- Manage project team members and vendors to deliver projects in a highly outsourced environment
- Manage the relationship with the client and relevant team members
- Follow both Agile PM and interactive SDLC methodologies based on project size and composition
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Management role
- A motivated, self-starter with project management and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously
- Experience managing IT projects in Software Development is required. IT Infrastructure Project Management experience is a plus.
