Interim Accounting Manager POST NUMBER: 471334
Our client, a fast?growing cloud?based technology company, is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to provide critical support during a period of heightened operational activity.
This position is fully remote. This engagement has an expected duration of 3-4 months.
Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly and quarterly general ledger close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation.
- Support accounting for internally developed software and related capitalization processes.
- Maintain accuracy and data integrity within the company’s ERP system, including workflows and saved searches.
- Provide concise status updates to leadership and collaborate effectively with cross?functional partners.
- Assist with process improvements to streamline close activities and reduce operational bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of progressive corporate accounting experience within technology or high?growth environments.
- Strong background in month?end close, accruals, journal entries, and software capitalization.
- Advanced proficiency with modern ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
- Ability to produce accurate, well?organized workpapers aligned with audit?ready standards.
- CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred.
