Vice President of IT Delivery

Job Description:
The Vice President of IT Delivery plays a crucial role in overseeing Business Systems Analysts and Delivery Managers with a focus on ceded reinsurance and outwards insurance, including effective communication with ceded buyers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Business Systems Analysts and Delivery Managers to ensure successful IT project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and requirements, emphasizing ceded reinsurance and outwards insurance.
- Develop relationships with ceded buyers and stakeholders, understanding their language and needs.
- Oversee design, development, testing, and implementation of IT solutions for ceded reinsurance and outwards insurance processes.
- Ensure on-time, within-budget, and quality IT project delivery.
- Provide strategic guidance aligning technology with business goals.
- Evaluate new technologies to enhance IT delivery processes.
- Collaborate across departments for IT solution alignment and integration.
- Monitor IT project performance, risks, and issues, taking proactive measures.
- Mentor team members for a high-performing, collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 8 years in IT delivery management with ceded reinsurance and outwards insurance focus.
- Strong understanding of insurance industry concepts and related regulatory requirements.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams, including Business Systems Analysts and IT developers.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker driving IT initiatives for business value and operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership inspiring team members for results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Agile certifications) are a plus.
