We are currently seeking an seasoned CPU board designer with experience on digital control/processing boards, motor drive boards, data sampling.

You will be responsible for design electronic hardware, digital processing/control cards, motor control cards (these cards will include FPGAs and occasionally CPUs and various serial and parallel interfaces). Moreover, some of your duties will include preparing an electrical schematic, a list of parts and initial part layout placement, support VHDL developers who program embedded FPGAs, CPU board software developers, and electrical ground test equipment designers on functional and environmental test plans & procedures for models.

How do you qualify?

To qualify for the Principal Electrical Designer role with our client, you must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or equivalent required.
  • 5 years of experience designing CPU, digital or analog cards
    Mastery of a schematic entry tool (e.g. Mentor Xpedition, PADS)
    Regular user of Excel, MathCAD, Spice, Matlab, Matlab or other similar tools.

    • Experience in performing analyzes

    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a te

    • Proficient with MS Office products.

    Knowledge of robust designs and experience with high-speed digital design and layout is an asset.
