Title: Director of Marketing and Advertising - Mississippi Health Plans and Medicare Advantage Plans

Location: Mississippi, USA

Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 per year

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing and Advertising to lead our marketing efforts for Mississippi health plans and Medicare Advantage Plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, promotional advertising, television and radio ads, online marketing, and promotional events. Additionally, political savvy is highly desirable for this role, as navigating the healthcare landscape often involves engaging with various stakeholders and policymakers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Mississippi health plans and Medicare Advantage Plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  2. Lead the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels, including television, radio, online platforms, and print media.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to identify target demographics and develop targeted messaging to effectively reach and engage potential beneficiaries.
  4. Oversee the production of marketing materials, including advertisements, brochures, and promotional collateral, ensuring adherence to branding guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  5. Manage advertising budgets and optimize spending to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives.
  6. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  7. Plan and execute promotional events, such as health fairs, community outreach programs, and educational seminars, to enhance brand awareness and drive enrollment.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, government agencies, and advocacy groups.
  9. Stay abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and policies, providing guidance on how to navigate regulatory challenges and compliance issues.
  10. Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback to foster professional development and ensure team success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in marketing and advertising, with a focus on healthcare, insurance, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including knowledge of Medicare Advantage Plans and healthcare policy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Political savvy and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and driving continuous improvement.
