Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Associate to join a fast-paced finance team. In this role, you will provide accurate and timely financial and administrative support to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
What You Will Do
- Accurately record accounts payable transactions across multiple entities using accounting systems, ensuring timely and organized data entry.
- Record and report daily cash receipts and prepare bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and process accounts payable checks and electronic payments, including use of banking platforms for payment verification and transaction research.
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger by reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and ensuring proper allocation of expenses and revenues.
- Monitor, investigate, and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records.
- Track and manage expenses by verifying invoices, reconciling statements, and ensuring proper coding and approvals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and providing explanations as needed.
- Assist with financial analysis, including variance and cost analysis, and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
- 2-3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and general ledger processes.
