Salary: 55-60,000/yr
 

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Operations Support

  • Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring products meet internal standards and customer specifications
  • Partner with warehouse, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues in real-time
  • Monitor order accuracy, product defects, and fulfillment issues, driving corrective actions
  • Assist in developing and documenting quality control procedures and best practices

Customer Experience & Issue Resolution

  • Serve as a key point of contact for customers regarding product quality, order discrepancies, and service concerns
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to improve order-to-delivery experience
  • Track and analyze trends in customer feedback to recommend process improvements

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of quality issues, returns, and customer claims
  • Analyze data to identify recurring issues and partner with leadership on solutions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational efficiency and customer satisfaction goals
  • Assist in implementing systems and tools to enhance quality tracking and reporting

Leadership Development (Path to Manager)

  • Take ownership of key QA and customer service processes with increasing autonomy
  • Help train and mentor team members on quality standards and customer communication
  • Contribute to building scalable processes as the business grows
  • Prepare to transition into a leadership role overseeing QA and customer experience functions

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in quality assurance, customer service, or operations within manufacturing, distribution, or building materials
  • Strong understanding of order fulfillment, product quality standards, and customer issue resolution
  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations, warehouse, and sales teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/order management systems preferred
