A Westside tech startup is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team! In this role, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for month-end close, audit requests, fixed assets, revenue, financial statements, and will (now or in the future) oversee AP. What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- 4-7 years of public and/or private accounting experience
- CPA or very close to it
- Advanced Excel
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Balance sheet account and P&L statement preparation
- Conduct flux analysis and present its related package to senior leaders
- Assist with the annual audit
- Oversee the work of AP staff
- Document accounting processes and policies
- Assist ad hoc projects, reporting, special projects, and system upgrades as needed
- Reports to a great mentor
