Accounting Manager POST NUMBER: 474320
Our client is a fast?growing, private equity–backed technology company entering an exciting next phase of scale. As the business continues to expand organically and through acquisition, they are seeking an Accounting Manager who is eager to take true ownership of the accounting function, bring structure to growth, and partner closely with leadership.
This is a high?impact, hands?on role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys building and improving processes, and wants a clear line of sight to the broader business. An added bonus is that the company operates in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:

Own the day?to?day accounting operations, including month?end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation

Manage and mentor one direct report, providing guidance, structure, and development support

Play a key role in acquisition integration, including onboarding acquired entities, aligning accounting practices, and supporting post?close integration efforts

Actively support and help drive a NetSuite implementation

Partner with FP&A, leadership, and external advisors to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting

Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and documentation as the company scales

Support audits, tax filings, and other compliance requirements

Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiencies in a growing environment
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred but not required
-
5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a high?growth, technology, or PE?backed environment

Prior experience owning the close process and managing day?to?day accounting activities

Experience leading or mentoring at least one team member

Exposure to M&A integration and/or systems implementations strongly preferred

NetSuite experience or involvement in an ERP implementation is a plus

Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross?functionally
