Lead Revenue Specialist POST NUMBER: 411329
Vaco is seeking a Lead Revenue Specialist who will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the revenue cycle for this great organization. This position involves overseeing billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of revenue cycle management, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire revenue cycle process, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable.
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Analyze and monitor revenue trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of revenue specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, sales, and customer service to resolve billing and revenue issues.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the revenue cycle processes.
- Prepare and present revenue reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to revenue recognition and reporting.
- Utilize financial software and systems to manage and track revenue data.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes by providing revenue projections and analysis.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue cycle management, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
