Title: Senior Accountant
Location: San Diego - Fully Remote
Salary: $90k-105k base (DOE)
Description: The ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, a great communicator, and enjoys collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents, in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting with the day to day operations of the accounting function, including but not limited to performing general ledger accounting, revenue recognition, SUT reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliations, preparing journal entries and financial statements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including variance analysis, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, revenue recognition, capitalization of costs, and maintenance of all balance sheet schedules (fixed assets, lease, intangibles, accruals, intercompany foreign currency translations, and etc.)
- Reconciliation and maintenance of sales and use tax compliance
- Support M&A integration activities and treasury
- Support process improvements and system implementations
- Assist with requests from internal and external auditors
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of GAAP accounting experience; PE backed companies preferred
- Experience with Netsuite and Avalara
