Responsibilities:
  • Research and provide guidance on technical accounting matters.
  • Prepare technical accounting memos to document accounting conclusions and support positions taken on complex transactions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate the accounting implications of new business initiatives, contracts, and transactions.
  • Assist in managing the quarterly and annual financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Assist in the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, providing technical expertise on accounting requirements, data migration, and process optimization.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process and address audit inquiries.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) required.
  • 4-5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on technical accounting and financial reporting; prior experience in a public accounting firm preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements
