Accounting Clerk
One of our top clients is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable:
- Process and manage invoices using our ERP system.
- Handle contracts and billing for clients, including annual insurance and tax billings.
- Perform weekly bank deposits and manage related documentation.
- Accounts Payable:
- Process electronic invoices and ensure proper documentation (POs, packing slips).
- Conduct weekly check runs and manage invoice volumes.
- Streamline and improve AP processes.
- Deposits and Payments:
- Conduct bi-weekly bank visits for deposits.
- Post payments received via various methods (wire, checks, credit card).
- Ensure accurate entry and separation of duties in the payment process.
- Financial Reporting:
- Maintain aging reports and alert management to any issues.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reconciliations.
Qualifications:
- Entry-level position; previous clerical accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new accounting software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for bank visits.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to tasks and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
