Job Description:
Vaco is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join a growing finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial principles to support their operational and strategic objectives. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights that drive informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights into key metrics and trends.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasting updates.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and understand operational drivers of financial performance.
- Support capital budgeting processes and financial feasibility analysis for potential investments and projects.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare presentations and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (typically 1-3 years) in financial analysis, budgeting, or related roles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with strong skills in Excel; experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
