Title: Construction Site Supervisor
Salary: $110,000-$125,000
Location: Allentown PA/ Easton, PA (Being able to travel between the 2 locations
Fully Onsite
***Must have commercial construction experience, with both renovation and ground up construction projects
Position Objective
The Site Supervisor is responsible for managing daily construction activities on-site, ensuring all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with approved plans, specifications, and regulations. This role serves as the primary on-site leader, coordinating with Operations Management and subcontractors while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Accountability
- Lead with a solutions-focused mindset and set clear expectations for quality, safety, and performance
- Hold crews and subcontractors accountable for work standards and conduct
- Coordinate site logistics including manpower, access, deliveries, and workflow
- Ensure all scope, sequencing, or method changes are reviewed and approved before execution
- De-escalate conflicts and maintain a professional job site environment
Site Execution & Safety
- Oversee daily operations across one or more job sites
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure job sites
- Ensure proper use of PPE and control site access
- Verify all work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules
Communication & Coordination
- Maintain clear, timely communication with Operations Management and stakeholders
- Provide updates on progress, delays, inspections, and issues in real time
- Escalate risks or concerns immediately
Scheduling, Planning & Risk Management
- Develop and manage 4–6 week lookahead schedules
- Submit weekly schedules by Friday for the upcoming week
- Track progress and proactively address delays
- Anticipate risks related to weather, materials, inspections, and logistics
- Ensure proper utility mark-outs and pre-construction documentation (photos/videos)
Documentation & Compliance
- Provide daily reports with photos and detailed updates
- Track permits, inspections, and project closeout items
- Complete incident reports within 24 hours
- Ensure all materials and expenses are approved prior to use
- Maintain company vehicles in safe, clean working condition
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or Project Manager in commercial construction
- Experience with ground-up and renovation projects
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, building codes, and OSHA standards
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings across all disciplines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction documentation tools
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in various weather and site conditions
- Capable of standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in noisy, dusty, or extreme temperature environments with PPE
- Willingness to travel between job sites and respond to issues outside standard hours
- Adherence to safety policies, including no phone use while driving and no substance use on job sites
