About the Company
A fast-growing, market-leading beauty brand distributed globally through major retailers and a branded e-commerce platform is looking for a Project Manager of Product Development Operations to own the end-to-end coordination of new product launches across a portfolio of 30 active projects at any given time. This is one of the most cross-functional roles in the company. You will sit at the intersection of Product Development, Packaging, Operations, Marketing, and Sales, keeping every initiative on track from initial concept through final execution. This is not a support role. You will take the reins, build the systems, run the meetings, and make things happen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the development and management of detailed project plans, including timelines, dependencies, milestones, owners, and critical paths across all active NPD initiatives
- Lead operational execution for new product launches, PR mailers, sample programs, kits, and seasonal sets, closing out current year deliverables while planning 2027 and beyond
- Drive the weekly launch execution meeting, owning all pre-work, cross-functional coordination, and checklist management so the team walks in aligned, not discovering
- Build and maintain project dashboards and trackers that give clear, real-time visibility to stakeholders at all levels
- Coordinate sample needs for marketing, photo shoots, retailer meetings, and other activations
- Serve as the central communication hub across all platforms and tools
- Identify roadblocks proactively and come to the table with solutions and cost implications
- Partner with Operations leadership to minimize costs associated with delays, air freight, and rush fees
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, suppliers, and external partners to support seamless execution
Ideal Candidate:
- 3–5 years of project management or product development operations experience required
- Experience in the Beauty/Cosmetics industry required
- Highly organized, calm under pressure, and completely unbothered by pivots, you see reprioritization as an opportunity, not chaos
- A big-picture, strategic thinker who asks questions
- Experienced in managing 20–30 concurrent projects
- Comfortable owning cross-functional meetings, setting agendas, driving pre-work, and keeping things moving
- Proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office; experience with workflow management platforms (Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, or similar) strongly preferred
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Stable tenure, this is a team looking to grow with someone for the long term
