Payroll Consultant POST NUMBER: 478141
Our client, a global technology organization, is seeking an Interim Payroll Consultant to provide hands-on payroll support during a transition period.
This position is fully remote, and the engagement is expected to last 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and international employee populations
- Support multiple payroll cycles with varying pay frequencies
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, ensuring compliance with applicable tax and labor regulations
- Partner with internal teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
- Support payroll-related accounting activities, including reconciliations and journal entry preparation
- Ensure accurate data flow between payroll systems and the general ledger
- Maintain documentation and support audits or internal reviews as needed
- Operate independently to meet payroll deadlines with minimal oversight
Requirements:
- 5 years of hands-on payroll experience
- Experience supporting payroll in multiple countries, including the U.S. and at least one additional jurisdiction
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance, benefits, and payroll-related accounting
- Experience working with payroll systems and large data sets
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
