JOB SUMMARY
Vaco is currently seeking a Senior / Lead Network Engineer for a Direct-Hire opportunity that is 100% remote. The Senior / Lead Network Engineer will serve as the lead engineer responsible for global enterprise network infrastructure, operational stability, security, and modernization initiatives across a distributed enterprise environment. The Senior / Lead Network Engineer will provide hands-on leadership over network engineering operations while mentoring a small offshore team and driving strategic infrastructure direction in partnership with Infrastructure leadership. The Senior / Lead Network Engineer will own design, implementation, troubleshooting, optimization, and operational support of complex enterprise networking technologies spanning Cisco networking, Meraki, Fortinet, Arista, cloud networking, SD-WAN, enterprise wireless, and hybrid cloud connectivity. The Senior / Lead Network Engineer is a highly visible technical leadership opportunity requiring deep enterprise networking expertise, operational ownership, infrastructure modernization experience, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on engineering execution within a global environment.
