Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 base plus Bonus & Equity
Location: Hybrid NYC Midtown
Position Overview
Join a fast-growing, premier financial services platform as the Manager of Finance Data & Analytics. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role will lead finance data requirements, KPI governance, finance reporting infrastructure, and scalable analytics capabilities supporting key business performance metrics.
This individual will partner closely with FP&A leadership, business stakeholders, and IT/Data teams to build reliable, scalable, and decision-focused finance analytics and reporting solutions that support enterprise growth and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Data Product Ownership
- Own finance data requirements and prioritization for FP&A analytics and reporting initiatives
- Translate finance and business needs into clear data definitions, business logic, reporting requirements, and analytical outputs
- Partner closely with IT and Data Management teams on enterprise data warehouse and finance reporting initiatives
- Lead finance-side testing, validation, and acceptance of analytics and reporting outputs
- Define, document, and maintain governance for key financial and operational performance metrics
- Establish finance data standards, business rules, and metadata requirements
- Support data quality, reconciliation, and consistency across finance reporting and analytics outputs
- Deliver actionable analytics and insights across business growth, production, and performance drivers
- Support advisor-, channel-, and enterprise-level analysis to identify trends and performance opportunities
- Build scalable recurring analytics and reporting outputs that support executive decision-making and strategic planning
- Support dashboard development, BI reporting requirements, and self-service analytics capabilities
- Help transition reporting processes from manual workflows to scalable, repeatable solutions
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve usability, and enhance analytical scalability across finance
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A analytics, finance data analytics, business intelligence, decision support, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline required
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Strong understanding of finance, KPIs, business analytics, and performance reporting
- Ability to translate business questions into actionable data and reporting requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
- Comfortable collaborating across finance, IT, and data management teams
- Experience with SQL-based data environments, BI tools, and analytics platforms preferred
- Demonstrated process improvement mindset with experience scaling reporting and analytics workflows preferred
- Experience within wealth management, financial services, or related industries preferred
