We’re partnering on a Tax Manager search with a large, publicly traded manufacturing organization seeking a tax professional with a strong compliance background to join its corporate tax team.

What you'll own:
• Lead and review federal, state, and local income tax compliance processes across multiple entities
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on tax return preparation and filings
• Manage quarterly estimates, extensions, and tax payment requirements
• Support tax provision activities, including preparation and review of supporting schedules and reconciliations
• Research and analyze tax issues, legislative developments, and regulatory changes impacting the business
• Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with ASC 740 requirements
• Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from taxing authorities
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and enhancements to tax controls and documentation
• Support special projects related to acquisitions, restructuring activities, and business initiatives as needed
What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA strongly preferred
• 5 years of progressive corporate tax or public accounting experience with a focus on tax compliance
• Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax compliance requirements
• Familiarity with ASC 740 and income tax provision concepts
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with tax software and ERP systems
