Role: Revenue Operations and Monetization Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ (2 days/wek in office)
Pay: $65,000/year
Description:
A leading digital advertising and media organization is seeking a Revenue Operations and Monetization Analyst to join its Revenue Operations and Monetization team. This role is responsible for digital programmatic campaign management, with a focus on maximizing revenue, improving margin performance, minimizing liability, and supporting effective inventory control through strategic ad placements.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-driven digital campaign trader with a strong understanding of digital campaign management, programmatic media, and performance analytics. This person should be comfortable translating campaign data into actionable optimization strategies and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize online ad campaigns using a proprietary automated bidding platform to help ensure strong campaign performance and return on investment for clients
- Monitor day-to-day programmatic buys across channels including connected TV, display, video, and audio
- Track campaign performance against key performance indicators and make data-driven optimization decisions related to bid strategies, ROI, ad frequency, delivery, and margin performance
- Proactively identify and resolve campaign setup, delivery, and performance issues
- Partner with ad operations counterparts to ensure campaigns are delivering smoothly and accurately
- Use tools such as Excel and Power BI to organize, consolidate, analyze, and interpret large datasets
- Take a systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate complex data insights, campaign strategies, and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders across different levels and functions
- Support revenue maximization, inventory control, margin improvement, and campaign delivery goals
- Continue building expertise in programmatic buying, campaign management, and digital advertising technology
Technical Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in a programmatic trading, campaign management, or related digital advertising / online media role
- Experience monitoring and optimizing digital campaigns across programmatic, CTV, display, video, and/or audio channels
- Video advertising experience strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on profit margins, campaign delivery, and performance optimization
- Experience reviewing campaign performance data and making data-driven optimization recommendations
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; PowerPoint and Word also required
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting / data visualization tools preferred
- Comfort working with large datasets, campaign metrics, performance reporting, and KPIs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain campaign data and optimization strategies clearly
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, time management, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Proactive, dependable, accountable, and eager to learn new tools and technical skill sets
- Interest in learning technical functions such as using APIs to support campaign automation
- Bachelor’s degree required
